We started the day by going to Cascata de Anços but like I'd predicted the fact that we haven't had rain, the waterfall was none existent BUT we had a great walk down and an even better climb up and oh we managed to take some excellent pics ;) I absolutely recommend this when there is more water! Enjoy the pics and feel free to ask any questions.

Next it was on to Sintra and our first pit stop for some energy drink/food after the long walks down and up aha Oh and the place is none other than Ale-hop which apart from the usual also sells food and drinks aha Lunch was at O Apeadeiro after recomendation from the locals https://www.facebook.com/restauranteapeadeiro.sintra it's very close to the train station.
Everything in Sintra is just one of those "oh wow look there" moments, I swear it's such a gorgeous place where one really relaxes and just enjoys the lovely sights and the loads of tourists that love this place too.

Lunch at O Apeadeiro
So after lunch we decided to go and visit a cousin in Ericeira and have a look around. The views are absolutely amazing and because we had someone that actually lives there show us around we got to see some exquisite places that the majority of the people that go there are unaware of. We went for coffee and dessert at the most exquisite little place that I have ever seen the place is also a Hotel and it's called Villa Anna Margarida https://villaanamargarida.com/hotel/and the little coffee shop is called Brunch me, do remember this name and go there you'll be just as amazed as I was!
I was told that the greenery around this river is loaded with bunnies and that late afternoon for some unknown reason they come out, jump into the river and then run back into the cover of the bushes, so far no one knows why...
See how a sportinguista and a benfiquista can live happily next to each other πΌπΌ

Showing pics and deciding on our next stop
This doggy is Jack, his father who was even bigger than he was called Boris. You can find him inside a surf shop in the village and he has his very own kennel with his name and loads of pics on the wall. Naturally Nadine loved him, as did we all π€
Posters along the street and naturally I possed next to my South Africa ππ
From here we went to Cascais where we also had dinner at Castro Restaurant and then just walked around. Thanks to our motorist for the day, Mrs Catharina Cardoso and to our mates that made this such an enjoyable day. To be repeated in some other parts of Portugal hey Fatima and Lars Olsen? π
