Day Two - 15th September 2017

So we come to day two...on this day we saw the following Holy Chapel, Notre Dame, from here we walked to the Louvre and Tuileries Gardens, next we went to Place de la Concorde then Grand et Petit Palais, all this on foot :P  Naturally we stopped at the gardens to rest and we also stopped for lunch.  Lastly we took the metro to the gorgeous Galleries Lafayette and then back to the Hotel for a much needed rest!

First day - 14th September 2017

So here we are back from Paris and ready to share our wonderful experience with our readers ;) I will place a map of the attractions in Paris so that you can follow day by day and see what we saw.  I can assure you we left the Hotel early every day latest 8:30 am and only returned at night!  In this way we got to see ALL the attractions Paris has to offer.  It was very, very tiring (my feet are proof of it :) ) but very rewarding.

1st day we did Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars

We stayed at the Hotel du Metro and we had the Marcadet - Poissonniers  metro basically at our door-step.

The Hotel is nothing extravagant but it served our purpose totally.  We had a choice of two rooms; one on the 3rd floor with two single beds or one on the 5th floor with a double bed, we picked the one on the 3rd floor so that we didn't have to climb so many stairs.  They were those twisty ones and after a long, long day of sight-seeing it would be no fun.  :)  Our room was very cosy (ready small) and the walls were painted pink ahahhaha, we had a shower and a wash basin but the wc was shared...one per floor, which was no hassle as it was always very clean.  Our sheets and blanlets were spotless too and our towels got changed every day.
So lets look at how we spent our 1st day in the city of love n lights ;)

Our pink room :P

P.S. The best place to get off to see the Eiffel Tower is at Trocadeiro...you will be wowed at the view and from there go all the way down the Tuileries Gardens, absolutely spectecular! At Trocadeiro we also got to see lots of Brides taking photos ;)

Now the pit stop :)  Hope you've enjoyed the ride, more to follow.

Check-in done

So it's getting closer, today I've confirmed our check-im-  I paid an extra 16€ to get seats next to each other.  I think Ryanair should view these money making schemes as it's not good for their name ;)
