Around Belem, Lisbon

So since Sunday turned out to be such a nice and sunny day we decided as a Family to go be tourists in our Lisbon, Belem area.

We started of at Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and already there were queues to go inside the building!

Next we went to look at the Museu da Marinha and all the surrounding area.

We than crossed to the other side and went to look at the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, so many people around and mostly foreigners ;)

Here I need to voice my opinion as I was so angry with some of these tourists and locals that decided that here is the perfect place to roller skate and skate board!  It should be strictly prohibited as it damages the lovely arranged stones!

Then as we'd "walked" up a thirst, it was time for some lunch and so we sat down and watched the world go by ;) 

In the afternoon we gave all our attention to the Jardim Botanico Tropical (it had been closed for restoration but is now open to the public again)  the photos speak for themselves.  For those that don't know if you go in before 14H00 you don't pay.
